Sunday, April 26th will be our last ntcs contemporary service at 11:46 am. It will be a very special occasion because we will be baptizing one of our teens so please come and help us to welcome her into our church family. We hope to be able to bring the contemporary service back in the future, but it will require more money and/or volunteer musicians to do so. If you would like to help out in either of these areas, please contact Fr. Mark.

Father Mark’s ReMarks:
“Father if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” John’s gospel tells us Jesus’ sweat was like blood as he prayed in great anguish asking to be delivered from crucifixion. This is not the “name it and claim it” faith of so many present-day televangelist. This is the suffering and faith of Jesus wrapped in the Father’s love. “Thy will be done;” what beautiful words, what words of self-assured strength, what words of life. OK God, I’ve done everything I can do; now you take the helm! I’ve made my wishes known to you, now you take over and do your thing! What is God’s “thing?” It is nothing less than LIFE! From deep within the bowels of lent, yet even at the grave, we make our song alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
